Williams Creek is a quiet, tree-filled pocket of large homes on large lots, just north of Meridian Hills. It operates as its own town with its own ordinances, and the homes inside it have an understated, old-money quality that rewards careful renovation over bold reinvention.
Architectural character
Primarily 1920s–1960s Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, and French Country estates on wooded lots. Many homes feature original detailing worth preserving — slate roofs, copper gutters, leaded glass windows, and hand-laid brick.
Local notes
Williams Creek is its own town with its own permitting and a strong preference for contractors who keep the neighborhood quiet and clean during construction. The homes reward restoration and period-accurate work over wholesale changes. Slate and cedar roofs are common, and maintaining them properly is a specialty of ours.
